Solvang: A replica of a Danish Village, has a wide range of accommodations. To name just a few, there are two Best Westerns, the Storybook Inn Bed and Breakfast, as well as the high-end Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort. Solvang is about 17 miles south of Los Alamos. Allow plenty of time to explore this charming town, either before or after the ride. Buellton, home of Anderson's Split Pea Soup. Buellton is located 15 miles South of Los Alamos. You can find a Best Western there. Santa Maria, 19 Miles North. Santa Maria home, of the Famous Santa Maria Inn, as well as many of the more familiar franchise accommodations. The Radisson Inn has held 15 rooms for the Windmill event for Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12. Each room has two queen sized beds and the rate is $124 plus tax.
